Meeting Minutes

June 17 , 2006

Alan Bonser opened meeting thanking all in attendance.

Ruth Schmieden read minutes of last meeting in Nov. 2005.

Nancy Richardson gave Treasurer report - Balance in saving $6,941.57 and Balance in Checking $93.99.

Nominations for Board Members - Slate was submitted Tom Ast, Ruth Schmieden. Nancy Richardson, Laura Uselton. Motion by Vern Schmieden was made to accept the nomination slate unanimously and was seconded by Steve. All in attendance agreed. A Big Thank You to Ann McCallum for serving on the Board for 2 years. Don Jacobs agreed to stay on as web-master.

Laura Uselton and Ann McCallum gave update on adoption of roads on Kennedy Gulch Road and Conifer Mt. Drive. Vest and Trash bags will be handed out at Fire House at 9:00 a.m. Saturday Morning, June 24, at which time sections will be designated for each family for clean-up. There was some discussion on procedure involved and decision was made to start at 9:00, return to fire house at 11:30 for Lunch (provided by the Homeowners Association) then those who wish to may finish in afternoon.

Don Jacobs talked about Trail development on the Mountain and found several people who would be interested in the Committee with Don heading the group investigation possibilities.

Alan Spoke on Slash removal and said he would investigate prices on slash removal for our area.

Ann McCallum gave an update on Christopher Drive paving which was completed to Stevens Way at this time.

Bruce Riley, our Fire Chief, gave an update on fire control and GS Mapping of all the Conifer community. NO OPEN FIRES ALLOWED AT THIS TIME. Some ask how they could make donations to the Elk Creek Fire. Bruce made a suggestion that maybe we could provide a meal for the Volunteers meeting which meets every month, the First Thursday and has 60 to 65 people in attendance.

A Discussion was made regarding our audit on the Associations books. Warren White volunteered to investigate our by-laws and identify and define what AUDIT means.
